Apparently this is also how the Brexit happened ;) Legend has it that David Cameron asked Merkel. She said "No". He thought it means he can get what he wants – only to find out later, that indeed a German "no" is a clear

RIP, you'll be missed. However I'm not puzzled by this. The speed was always fast, and they didn't employ any strategies like a lot of the other OCH which made downloading a huge PITA.

This site would so much improve by using `background-attachment: fixed;` in its CSS. I'm getting a headache here.

Same... I hate it that they borrowed this term to give them credibility. They are no architects.

Too bad they decided to become irrelevant. Kagi was a fresh breeze and liked it very much, but by abolishing the free plan (which is now a merely short trial) and rising the prices this steeply will hurt them. It's so much eyebrow-rais

Nope, it doesn't. FF stable on MacOS. Teams is, was, and will be the absolut worst. They only won, because it's bundled into MSO.

Had big issues with Zoom today indeed – for how long has this bug existed? I'm still on Monterey but have not yet updated to 12.6.1.

I think what really is missing here would be a full text search. I have currently multiple thousands of bookmarks. Sometimes remembering the title just doesn't cut it. Also I have a severe fear of link rot. I developed the habit of put

Funny enough, as a person whose native language is not English, The Register always went above my head. I knew it was meant to be snarky or funny, but it always left me stumbling and I never was quite sure if not the whole page was just an

That's exactly the thing I would be looking for, too. Especially since I'm working in proprietary niche language, it would be so great to have my own code to be the corpus of the model. It could be so easy: stuff your codebase int

I always regarded Pozidriv to be a joke, a homeopathic design. Does it _really_ does better than Philipps? On paper, yeah. Does it feel in the real world like that? Nope, not at all. Torx all the way!
