Really? The protocol is bad, this competition protects only the most basic attacks and still was broken in about 5 days. It's not "unnecessary pride". You have to be really cautios with cryptography. Not use the first thing

I did the course about 1 year ago (or maybe 2? not sure now). The only thing I really remember from top of my head is don't implement your own crypto . I guess I remembered the most important lesson.

yeah, OK, but again, it's not really an invasion of privacy bcause they get the mails and the URLs in the first place . If you don't want your e-mails read by google, you probably don't use GMail.

From what I read, NSA is not spending that much. Apparently snooping is more effective than sending an army.

It's way more ambiguous. PRISM people thought they were doing right. All NSA - based on all the official and unofficial responses - think they are doing right. That they help building a safer America. That they have to sacrifice priv

It's not possible in general. If someone steals your bitcoins, he can send them wherever they want. That's the "beauty" of bitcoin - if someone has the keys, he can do whatever he wants with it.

To be frank, the site never worked 100% and the support was always kind of terrible. So it is possible (not very likely, but > 0% probability) that it is just a miscommunication on their part. I wouldn't bet on it though.

Why is longer wajting time for a block more secure? Isn't the security given more by the number of miners?

Wikipedia doesn't have that. For most Pokémon, they have summary pages like this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_(252%E2%80...
