I think you’re talking about Apple’s butterfly keyboards which were only around for 3-4 years of the last decade you’re talking about. Apple’s keyboards have been great for 5+ years now.

Can you post screenshots of what you mean? I see grossly rounded corners in some apps, but I don't see the other stuff like gaps in window corners for full screen apps. I may have some config bit flipped that has disabled those. Yeah,

I almost want to disagree with you here but I’m not fully apprised of the greater situation. My dad is poor and neglectful of himself. He had a stroke. He got ambulanced to the emergency room and spent a good deal of time there. The hospita

I think the answer is better curation and ranking. And perhaps some sort of reputation system (eg. This app is by OpenAI vs “This app is by some unknown spot”)

Gotta go with Jtsummers’ comment. This looks like it was written by an LLM and contains many, many factual errors. It does not appear to have any relation to the O’Reilly book of the same name. I recommend people flag this submission. Check

Hey, I wanted to thank you for writing the Modern Perl book. It helped me write a bunch of maintainable Perl code still in production.

Anecdotal, but I'm seeing a lot of folding phones in public. I look at the prices and wonder how some of the people I see with them can afford them. But using them is probably many people's favorite hobby at this point?

Agreed and well said. I also disagreed with a lot of his views. But, at the same time when I started watching his content, I realized his detractors overstretched the truth about a lot of what he said. Not all of it, but a lot of it.

It turns out they have been teaching metric in (US) schools, through the grades, not just for an hour or whatever, again. Why? I don't know, but I approve.
