`rk=required` means your hardware is required to store each and every derived key, not just the master key, all in the service of you not needing to remember your username anymore. Current security keys can handle a couple dozen derived key

I'm pretty sure the goal here is to turn your phone into your passkey, _and nothing else_. Everything written in that article makes sense if you keep that in mind.

I think that might be only half of the solution. Whenever I have to keep two things in sync—like, in this case, two security keys—, it's always been trouble waiting to happen. What I'd love to see would be some kind of "trust

I'm working full-time as a sysadmin on a first-gen Ergodox. It's nice; I can put writing implements between the keyboard halves. Or food. :) Apart from that, it's just… different. I'm still using normal keyboards on trip

Do you mean lapce pulls Druid from Git and isn't using wgpu right now, or do you mean Druid itself? I'm afraid I can't quite parse your comment.

Yeah, this reads like my bucket list of Rust technologies if I ever decided I'd want to implement a text editor. Definitely going to try this out. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, OP!

I'd just need it to get rid of the goddamn karma. I like Reddit and I participate judiciously, but I had to write a UserCSS script[0] to hide all karma. [0] https://paste.sr.ht/~runiq/aebc83743e3b864a681c6a878df4f7
