If you measure how much time you spend watching TV or surfing the web it puts it in perspective... I used to run about 40 miles a week a few months ago. Usually ended up being between 5 and 6 hours a week. The long run is usually on the wee

Totally tangential question but is there any resource you know of that provides a layman's "explain like I'm 5" explanation of this Delaware BCL? A privately owned company (in which I bought my shares of when I left) was

My anecdata is that it was a very powerful experience for me. For me it was less about the size of David and more about the details. You can see the veins in his forearms. Depending on the angle of viewing the expression on his face seems t

Do you honestly think anyone is "pro-crime"? Being against 3 strikes is just about believing judges should be using their own discretion when sentencing as far as I can tell and not required to hand down mandatory sentencing.

Wal-Mart can't even leverage their ubiquitous brick and mortar presence to be un-terrible to use for ship-to-store during the two times I tried to use it. Don't think this will end up being an Amazon killer.

It is poorly worded but I think effectively it's true. If I understand correctly a 10000 sq ft lot would be taxed the same regardless if it was a 1 story house or a 6 story condo... So effectively it's a discount compared to the w

That's a pretty big strawman. A better recourse would be to whistle blow in that scenario. Though clearly that carries a great deal of personal risk too. Destroying a company damages all of that companies customers and employees as wel

I saw a crow get hit by a car right in front of me with a thump because it moved too slow from a mid street meal. Instantly probably 6 or so crows started shrieking and came over to the incident. It was quite sad because it seemed they coul

It depends on how expensive. Airlines that lose my luggage, charge crazy fees and have incredibly narrow seats often get dismissed out of hand unless they have significant discounts. I usually just check southwest first because of this.
