Rather than advice, I have questions....namely, is there a list of your published apps somewhere? I'd like to understand the types of simple applications you're developing. Thanks!

Why, exactly? Why would I want Powershell on Linux? If it's cross-platform scripting ability you're after, then why not focus efforts on developing OS-layer abstractions that various scripting languages which are already cross-platform (p

As a long time user of both PostgreSQL and MySQL, I can't begin to compliment PostgreSQL enough. It runs just about everything in our company, from ticketing systems to an ERP system with over 1000 users...and it does so without flinching o

The thing that always gets me when trying to use either vim and emacs for IDE-like programming (and don't get me wrong...I have used vim for regular editing for years), is that someone says, "yeah, (vim|emacs) destroys all other editors and

Great...looks slick and runs fast...but with comments like this ( http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/12/07/schmidt_on_privacy/ ), how can I trust it?

Yes, very good point and a detail I missed. That's extremely unfortunate...the first spec of the language will lag far behind the version everyone should be using, and based on a transitional version that was controversial at best.

This to me is great news...a first step towards a "standard" ruby. With the various implementations running around out there, having a documented specification to refer to (and the ruby equivalent of the Java TCK, which I believe rubyspec i
