This reminds me a bit of the lastfm music visualization http://sixdegrees.hu/last.fm/index.html . Flipping either on the vertical and horizontal axises puts them in a position to line up somewhat. I wonder with a more full data-set from

Better feedback seems to be something that is needed. After or as you input sites there should be feedback from the site. Right now I just feel like this was a way to give you data on sites that I like. I'd like to feel that there is mor

This certainly seems to be true of some people. I have lost count of the number of times I have heard the phrase "retail therapy" used.

Buildings are surprisingly expensive. ~50-75$ million (perhaps even more these days) gets you a pretty basic academic building (like a dorm). Fancy buildings with expensive contents like libraries and labs are substantially spendier.

Well, on one level, I'm kind of amused by the reviewers attention to detail... On another level, this thing reads like a comedy piece someone would make up about the dangers of censorship.

I think it is more correct to say that cyberwarfare is part of the future of warfare. I think networked computers are just an additional dimension of space for conflict to take part on. Put another way, I don't think the classic physicall

Yeah, perhaps. It's just a ton of money to tempt people with, relatively speaking. Putting it all in comparison with a table of purchasing power parity ( ttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_capita ) is revealing.

I kinda dig it, but it was, in the end, a let down. Here I am all ready to cowboy up and join a club for some stupid fun but there is neither club nor fun. It was a very "all flowers and no date" consumer experience.

I wonder if this is true. The 15 police cars and a SWAT team thing and the lines attributed to the FBI commander seem a bit over the top. If this is true, this strikes me as wrong on many levels. The overall expense and damage to unconnec

If you like that sentiment, you will probably like Burt Rutan's talk at Ted ( http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/burt_rutan_sees_the_futur... ). The theme is a lack of progress in aerospace and how to resolve it.

The loss of sixteen (16) minutes of office time twice a year has a cost, clearly. I will add that my rhythm takes a hit for at least a week on each shift too. I suspect other people share that cost too. That written, in my opinion, the c
