I thought it looks nice, and gives more focus to the content like they intended :/. The space around a block style tab-bar/navbar is wasted anyway, might as well show some of the content. Most apps were doing it anyway. Seeing a s

If you’re interested in Zig check out https://github.com/castholm/SDL . Try the breakout example, I play around with it a lot. You’ll just need the Zig 0.14 compiler and it should be painless.

Anything where you’re doing basic CRUD apps. Yes there are generators, but not for everything. For me that’s where LLMs have been the most useful.

On a similar note: I wonder if we'll see OS level services/daemons to try and lower the time to first token as these things get used more. And the interface for application developers will be a simple system prompt. In some ways t

The narrative and hype is out of control. After seeing all the praise on Twitter for the latest frontier models, I figured I'd' try to generate a semi-simple View for SwiftUI. All the features I'm asking for have been covered

How are Claude’s rate limits on the $20 plan? I used to hit them a lot when I subscribed ~6 months ago, to the point that I got frustrated and unsubscribed.

If anyone at Google cares, I’d pay for Gemini Pro (not this new $200+ ridiculousness) if they didn’t train on my chats in that case. I actually would like to subscribe..

Yeah, I was referring to their webapp/Chat, aka Gemini Advanced. It uses your prompts for training unless you turn off chat history completely, or are in their “Workspace” enterprise version. https://support.google.com/

Do you have a link to some of this output? A repo on Github of something you’ve done for fun? I get a lot of value out of LLMs but when I see people make claims like this I know they aren’t “in the trenches” of software development, or car
