This sort of action is what we need across the economy. Cancellation or deferral. Rent deferral, interest deferral, mortgage deferral... etc. At the individual level maybe limit it to the lower 50%-70% of income earners. Cancel interest and

You’re awesome. I’m the oldest of 7 who grew up in a house that size. Way to go on the big fam! There’s a two bedroom house on my block that’s sub-1600 sq ft that 9 kids were raised in, so there’s always bigger and always smaller :) Totally

Many small businesses esp. in hospitality have to fire most of their staff because of this. It’s not a trivial thing to do, and only worthwhile when the infection/death rate starts climbing. Rural areas and smaller cities are pretty sa

The bigger point is TV is a poor way to ‘chill and recharge’. It zaps your creative process, deadens your judgment, and isolates you from those around. Reading, conversation with friends/family, poetry, painting, sitting and enjoying a

Grads don’t provide meaningful feedback for how a student can grow or the challenges they’re facing. As soon as you introduce grades they become the sole metric to be gamed. I understand there’s real issues with scaling, but national tests
