Last time i checked lz4 did not had a streaming decompression support on their python lib. It will be problem for larger files like common crawl if you are not planning to pre-decompress before processing.

I have not designed for FTDI and new in embedded desings but, for USB interfacing cypress PSoCs have served me well till now. They have dedicated USB chips as well.

I was hung up on error as return instead of exceptions but came in terms eventually. Now i think, compared to exceptions the error handeling is better off with go's approach. They are local, and require more concious effort. Specially

Similar, I deleted my twitter profile picture as well as account in 2008. I had a url of the profile image saved. After five years the the link works and image is still there.

Actual transaction happens in Paypal's page. Not for a complete e-commerce site, but for simple usages with few products i beleive this is a good solution.

I think, new user would offset for the cost of updating the ad-block rules. I dont think, any could make a perfect adblocker. A good enough blocker would cover 90% of the market anyway.

Instead of sub domain, email address would have been a better choice. user@provider.tld Where provider.tld provides specification/api.. like robot.txt/tent.json that would specify actual api endpoints for given user.

We are all so eager for adoption before the implementation. Big things on internet were not made wide adoption guaranteed. as @dglassan said, "Refactoring the internet is not the solution". Create something, invite small group, dev friends
