This looks really good in the video Ive seen. I like the organic look of the cells and how they stick to each other. Time for a download.

YAML isnt my idea of clarity but thats fine. I tend to go with using a python script to generate a json file. This supports comments, if-else decision making, modules and all sorts of other smarts. Tell users not to edit the resulting json

Commercial solutions can hold 60-300 disks or more. Expensive. For home use just get a bunch of usb dvd drives and go nuts, or go full tape. Once you go tape you get addicted to capacity. But it gets pricey. Cost/density is interesting

To expand a little: Just a computer with a LOT of dvd drives. Add a few high capacity local ssd, harddisk and plenty of ram. Insert disk, optional full copy to local as cache, then server just reads. If it copied it auto-ejects. Also got a

Some email gets printed out, stuck in various binders, and kept for awhile. Then usually set on fire in a ritualised celebration of the impermanence of reality. This is also known as scheduled secure destruction. The majority of serious ema

Ok, I'll watch and see. I have a few old machines in the fleet which are kept running for some reason. They're mainly for fun from what I can see. Similar to the old quake server we used to have for "network testing" at

So they don't want hobbyists anymore? Interesting approach to growing the userbase and providing at-home labs. But maybe this is the purpose. Perhaps it is a precursor to sunsetting openvms into obsolescence? I wonder how much bitrot a

Which language, other than assembly, most accurately represents how modern computers work? What high language could I use that gives me most performance because it accurately matches the underlying platform?

Depends on traffic/content, but yeah text is cheap. Might grab a copy of the archive for reference then local host it. We've got a ton of internal references that will be broken. We haven't touched UE for about 10 months.

I never understand why companies do this. Its very developer hostile. Are they having financial problems? Surely Fortnite is keeping the lights on... Could be a signal of underlying management confusion/instability. Might need to reass

Any one of these is a bad sign and things get exponentially bad the more you have: Poor expectations management, poor milestone creation/definition, inflexibility, poor specification, poor testing. Plenty more. Wordplay for profit: Hav

My preference in cars is touchscreen for rarely used functionality, and then dials, buttons and sliders for everything else. Messing with audio is a peripheral task so expecting me to take my eyes off the road etc is still unacceptable. Esp
