I set my global nameserver within the MagicDNS configuration to use the pihole IP. If I didn't use magic DNS i would have to do this for each device, and on devices like Android etc each network i connect to. This requires no-thought

Thanks, I had dis-counted 3rd party cookies for some reason. Luckily the tide here is changing with firefox ETP, Safari cookie isolation, etc, but you're right that a lot of the world still has cross-domain cookies to contend with. Yik
