I'm a big fan of clarity and non-ambiguous statements. If using a serial comma is what it takes to maintain that clarity, then so it shall be.

How is this different than the follow button used on @Anywhere? http://dev.twitter.com/anywhere/begin EDIT - It seems the flow is a little different. The user doesn't have to connect to the site first; it's just a one-click thing if you'r

Ctrl + K gets you into search mode only. I find it annoying sometimes when what I'm searching is similar to a URL in my history, so it's useful to specify it's a search with a "?" before a query.

The URL bar serves as the search bar as well, and for most people that's their primary mode of navigation. Even if they don't really care about URLs, I don't see anyone wanting to add another step every time they do a search.

$25 just isn't enough of a discount for something that was already pretty well-priced. I don't mind ad-supported sites / apps especially if it means I don't have to pay for them, but to put ads on an entire device that I own -- that's a n

Depends on the quality of traffic. I have a high volume image site that gets about 20 million page views a month on which I earn about $1500. Users usually don't spend more than 5-6 seconds on each page, so each ad impression has a very sma

I had that for FF 3, but now that the tabs are on top it just feels a lot more like Chrome where I'm used to having it on each tab, so I've moved them back on the tabs. Btw, the relevant option in about:config is "browser.tabs.closeButtons"

The discussion of whether you should upgrade from iPad 1 to 2 just seems absurd to me. It's the epitome of a first world problem. I like my gadgets just as much as the next guy, but buying things you already have simply because they're sli

Just a couple of design things: Black text on that blue background doesn't provide enough contrast for what's supposed to be your main headline. Also, I've come to expect buttons to have hover states, and yours don't. As for the product its

Tesla was nowhere near profitability when they went public. Pandora just has to wait a few more quarters before getting access to a natural flow of cash. That's what I found strange.

Still seems weird seeing a company that's not even profitable yet go public. I don't expect the initial demand for their stock will be that high, despite the growth.

Not just GoDaddy--I've had similar experiences with half a dozen other shared hosting companies. GoDaddy is one of the few that actually has free phone support, which is a lot nicer than an automated email and a response 48 hours later.
