With lack of expansion cards combined with m2 drives modern PCs are looking completely different to just 10 years ago. Just a big motherboard with a video card and a massive cooler. Those big cases look mostly empty. All the wiring is just

I've had a bunch of restaurants secure reservations with cc numbers and CVC in a big book. I guess their tech auditors didn't pick up that risk.

No a contract is a contract and the contract defines what the agreement is. The IRS might have a view of the tax implications of contract law but it doesn't control anything.

Yeah I value a few branches around. I'd hate to rely my finances on some startup with an app that could stop working any time. A branch gives some idea of permanence. Maybe its an illusion but I just dont trust virtual only banks.

> you need to pay /more/ than software jobs The other way to do that is cut the wages of software jobs. Honestly with the glut of young developers and remote working it has started to happen already.

The whole advantage of GraalVM is startup time, which is important for containers, Lambda jobs etc, because it doesn't have to compile bytecode on startup. It isn't supposed to be faster than regular JVM, which has the advantage o

You might be right. I assume lending as a regular part of the economy but my grandparents lived in a world where it was very difficult, even for a mortgage. I can't see any real benefit of credit cards, payday lenders.
