Seems they no longer use this method. Instead they use `CHANGELOG merge=union` in a .gitattributes file at the root of the repository. That means that conflicting merges take changes from both sides of the conflict. It's what you usual

Would this all be fixed by installing a linux distro on the laptop? A different trackpad driver - if it works ;) - would do different stuff, and remapping media keys is possible in most desktop environments.

It's a pain that it supports SMS. I wish they would make a TextSecure that completely dropped all SMS sending support. As it is, having legacy SMS makes it trickier to use than Whatsapp, since Textsecure "randomly" sends SMSs

Slight update, if you set `"enableAdb" : true` in the app's manifest.json, then you can connect adb and view the log. This makes the whole thing miles better than the emulator.

A lot of sites don't allow more than 12 chars. Of the top of my head, Nintendo's rewards scheme has a limit on the number of characters, it lets you use more but actually truncates the password to 12 or so. Some sites truncate it
