That would apply probably to most famous entrepreneurs. Whatever I have read about Jobs, Musk, Gates and others, they all are very willing to abuse people to achieve their goals.

Feels like 2002-2003 after the .COM bubble. During bubbles a lot of people get hired for good money who aren’t really up to the task.

We have not been farming for 8 billion that long. The scale of what’s happening right now is unprecedented.

That's true. But as far as business and popularity go, TV and smartphones were a huge success. In the end what makes money will be sold without regard for social consequences.

The 20Mpbs is definitely very welcome and so far it’s pretty constant. I hope one day we will have symmetric connections everywhere.

“ they are much less flexible than the old spreadsheets.” I have seen that several times while I was a consultant. People run their stuff on spreadsheets. It’s a big mess but things get done . IT comes in and starts producing “professional”

My parents can write like that (or could when they were not in their 90s yet). School back then put a lot of emphasis on good handwriting. I on the other hand have handwriting that's barely legible after decades of typing on keyboards.

That's my prediction. I have fed some extremely tedious enterprise contracts into ChatGPT and got a nice summary and answers for my questions. It wasn't perfect but with some tuning I think this will work really well.

If the system was honest, then the ER would send people to the right place instead of charging them an arm and a leg for basically nothing.

The system should not be that complex and full of traps. I rarely go to a doctor and when I have to go every few years I have no idea how things work and what to avoid.
