I wonder if the authors of pieces like this truly believe what they're writing. The article is a joke. At least the title of the article is true.

Honestly I was expecting the article to discuss tuning/temperament! Has anybody listened to Bach or Chopin's preludes played on a well tempered piano? To me it feels as if those pieces were written to take advantage of the differe

I've mentioned this in a couple different HN posts regarding QM recently and I'd like to mention this again. I'd greatly appreciate it if we could do some back and forth. I think the "current crisis in physics" has

The idea here is that what people generally regard as a "photon" today is actually one second's worth of oscillations of light at a particular frequency. Imagine each oscillation of light as the true elementary particle inste

I doubt the photon is truly fundamental. I've mentioned this recently in another thread but I'm pretty sure E=hf is hiding information and the units of plancks constant are wrong. I think the equation should be E=htf where h is in

I've noticed the term "low code" being mentioned more often lately, but never in relation to array programming languages. In my opinion languages like k, q, apl and j are the most flexible and expressive low code programming

Consider it this way. Suppose we all agreed to never use numerical values in the units section of an equation... then in this case we'd need a symbol for cycles in cycles per second aka Hz. If we leaves Planck's constant as is in

In the spirit of pointing out inconsistencies...I am not a physicist, but something I've been confused about lately is why the action constant has a unit of seconds baked into it. Feels like E = hf is an experiment with a hard coded 1
