Correction: I meant "NADPH" instead of "NADH". It's been 25 years since I've done any biochem, and obviously my skills have rusted (haha, electrochemistry joke). The Z-scheme in photosynthesis is exactly the ty

This seems like a cross between a standard battery and a flow battery. A standard battery has an anode, separator, and cathode connected to each other, and counter-ions (eg Li+) flow from the anode to the cathode, allowing a wire connecting

I'm surprised not to see "Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives" listed here. This is a movie about the late Hugh Everett, developer of the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, by his son, Eels front man Mark Everett. I

It's also good to see the communities come up with different approaches to the same problem. I'm not an R user, but R Markdown is really great, and I'm glad that someone put forward such a strong candidate. Similarly, much as

I love einsum so much! I've never been able to figure out how tensordot works, but I find einsum easy to understand. I've long wanted to write a jupyter notebook explaining how einsum can be used in different contexts, but as I mo

What an unexpected surprise! Wasn't aware of the company or the work, and was somewhat bored by reading a lot of undistinguished papers applying AI to computational chemistry. But focusing on the wave function antisymmetry using a neur
