I disagree entirely. I cannot get the ingredients for most of Plated meals for what they charge. I end up with lots of spoiled food, unless I make huge batches and eat the same thing all week.

It looks like the theoretical max for rare earth is not that straight forward. See the BH(max) column here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rare-earth_magnet#Magnetic_pro...

Manufacturers often use a term MTBF or "mean time between failure". I'm not sure if the 2000 hours spec is an MTBF or not, but essentially that is an average life with some standard deviation. Personally, I think a pretty bi

I don't think they "charge" your for it at the end of the lease. Leases have a "residual value" which is what they expect the car to be worth at the end of the lease, assuming it was kept in good running condition.

I'm not sure I agree with the shoddy construction part, but I'm with you on the complexity and bells and whistles. Cars from this era will be super big headaches for classic car guys in 30-40 years. The electronics are so custom

Why wouldn't they take cash then? If they don't have to give the incentives, that's more money in their pocket.

> Why should society subsidize someone using a piece of land, when another potential tenant will pay taxes on its true value? Subsidize? I think your concept of private property rights is under developed.

This is essentially what the DC region has with Virginia's Express lanes, though the difference here is only 10 MPH. The waste of space and resources that was required to put those extra lanes in, and all of the traffic control measure

I think this needs to be drilled into young drivers heads so the highways of the future have less morons on them. In fact, I think it needs to go a step further - ALWAYS stay to the right. Only move to the other lane to pass or turn left.

Agree. One thing I've never understood is why people ever thought it was a good idea to combine vehicle, foot, and bicycle traffic on essentially the same roads. Side walks are just another lane. Communities need to enforce zoning th
