I would usually alt-tab to browser, open up any good LLM in 1 keystroke, write a short prompt, optionally paste the output of "ls" or "find" if context matters, then just copy and paste the result. This tool adds context

Assuming it is the best when the private servers are controlled by someone who lets you use it, is it still the best when that connection is severed or when trust is broken by the nation controlling the servers, data and code? What if some

Saying the pilot did nothing wrong means the plane did something wrong; sell less expansive planes to foreign countries. Throw him under the bus; sell more expansive planes. I hear America is looking for efficiency and reduced gvt spendings

LLMs as a tool that you use and check can be useful, especially for code. However, I think that putting some LLM in your customer-facing app/SaaS/game is like using the "I'm feeling lucky" button when Google introdu

Thanks! Looks nice, the DOM part seems to be very well made, I can't draw cards from stock on Firefox though. Dragging cards works well, it's just the click on stock that doesn't seem to register. It works when I first load t

First time I've played any game through the end just because I wanted to see an ad! It's really well made, gotta confess I went the CLI route because I don't know how to design GUIs with moving parts. Also, I wanted to play m

Nice! I should add only-winnable generation to my own Solitaire, it's adfree, although it has extremely clunky controls. Well, it was designed for the terminal, try the webconsole version here: https://rpigab.gitlab.io/

That's awful. I just tried uploading a couple files from PC to Android phone, ublock Origin had marked sharedrop.io as potential badware, disabled it because I knew it to be decent software, then once the file was uploaded (not before)

That's probably another reason why Google kills so many products that are successful, but not successful enough for Google's whole system to justify keeping them alive and secure.

C++ often perform significantly worse than assembly for many kinds of code where you care a lot about performance. You can bring that performance closer together with bits of ASM in your C++ but at that point you might as well use ASM.

It is not, if the developer only does what is expected. I believe when you have to perform this, the Android authorization asked to the user is complete control over the network adapter settings.

Apps that have to link hardware via Wifi sometimes do, they take complete control over wifi in order to create a wireless access point and make the device connect to it during setup. I think Nikon camera remote control does this, also Meta

This is also why some Chinese apps put everything inside a single app and request every permission there is, then track you through Wifi SSIDs seen by your device.

I wouldn't call it horrifying because here in this context it's to protect kids (and Disney's brand of course) but I think this is similar to the situation of mobile games like Call of Duty mobile, where probably more than ha

Worst way to find out that your spouse is cheating on you, and is married to two people at the same time unbeknownst to them. The AI knows.

The process is extremely lossy, but guessing a likely prompt should be doable if they used an LLM just to inflate word count, to reverse it, just remove redundancy and noise. Saves you time.

This helped a lot, thanks! I now see a similiarity where I was missing the bridges between geometry and lossy information channels. It's really interesting, though it's a really complex problem.
