When I was relatively new in my first job I forgot to include the WHERE clause in an update, essentially resetting the value for the entire table. Needless to say I felt awful and I was ready to hand in my resignation right after the issue

I know this is the case for many people but I'm not a big fan of streaming media to my phone. It's expensive, unnecessary (for my use case) and too unreliable to my liking. I sometimes do it but I just don't rely on it.

I have used both and I agree. Obviously, you still wouldn't want to use MSSQL for personal projects but technically it is years ahead of MySQL that's for sure. My main OS is Linux, fwiw.
