Honestly given how lots and lots of things just build on Debian, seems easier to me to just use an off the shelf older Supermicro motherboard with an plain IT mode SAS HBA and something like an Enthoo Pro case and just call it a day running

No, I had the exact same thoughts. I personally find it crazy to think that you'd buy something (that isn't an explicit perishable or consumable) and intentionally buy something shoddy or discard it after only a few weeks. With re

Honestly this is why I just buy Supermicro workstation boards with BMCs for everything. No need to mess with third party stuff or guess if the vendor's WoL is going to work right (or deal with the possibility you need to hard restart t

The images are also irritating and jarring when you notice that the bokeh is fake and that they're all AI generated (and AI generated images have really headache inducing depth of field effects).

I see Brother is going with the Lexmark strategy. Maybe they'll wake up before they end up in as bad if shape as Lexmark has wound up in.

Honestly if we could just make the pirates around 6950 a little more tacitly legit (I mean it's clear the FCC doesn't care, but a little more wink wink nudge nudge might be cool), that would go a long way towards a shortwave reviv

As someone who has used Sphinx search for a long time, and wound up using Manticore after it got forked off of Sphinx, I found that it does much better than the native PostgreSQL search, while not being as resource hungry as Elastic. Especi

I've not modded my 360E, and it was probably one of the very last 360s built, but I've never had any problems with it, still play on it, and my understanding is there are fewer and less dire problems with it than the prior 360 and

Why on earth would someone buy this instead of a regular PC setup, especially at that price point? There's no way I would pay that sort of money and not be able to change out the GPU and RAM, and also only have a single PCIE 4x slot.
