The other thing with the receipt is that the dimensions are off: it is not tall enough, it seems like it's printed on US Letter paper, whereas in Germany it definitely would be printed on A4 paper, which is taller than Letter.

I can’t even use the dongle straight in my Mac because it is USB-C only and the dongle is USB-A. I used the dongle in some kind of port extender, in a Dell docking station and in the USB hub on my monitor. And had issues no matter what
