Was curious about the source here. Seems widely reported and I just missed it. This a unpaywalled source I found https://techcrunch.com/2026/03/27/why-softbanks-new-40b-loan...

This is a piece I liked a lot about how to make coding agents better for flow state: https://haskellforall.com/2026/02/beyond-agentic-coding

Oh yes absolutely it will cost more than $20B. But that’s an order of magnitude difference. If NASA has price overruns by 9x it’s still cheaper. That’s why it’s so stark.

Seeing the NASA ask for a permanent moon base at $20B while the pentagon is looking for $200B really puts it into perspective. You’re telling me it’s going to cost 10x as much to wage war on Iran as it is to build a moon base? Wtf are we do

Seems like no: > However, analysts were not convinced this week’s sell-off was warranted. The implications for memory and computing were “neutral near term”, Morgan Stanley added, as lower AI costs would likely increase overall demand.

Both things can be true. Parents can share responsibility. But it is also the case that Facebook actively suppressed research that showed that children using their platforms experience emotional harms. It is also the case that around the ti

I think it’s a difference in how people think. I can’t remember hotkeys. It just doesn’t compute. But with vim style bindings it’s much closer to writing a sentence. `3`, number of times, `b`, beginning of word, `c`, change, `w`, word. Yea

> The hackathon winners understood something that most developers do not: the hard part of building useful AI is not the code, it is knowing what the system should do in the first place. This has always been true of all systems. Not that

This is my hope as well. We now have time to write things a bit better. Comment on the pr with a quick improvement and it can just happen. But I’m failing to convince people at work. The majority seem to just be happy for code to go away an

Mistral has been releasing some cool stuff. Definitively behind on frontier models but they are working a different angle. Was just talking at work about how hard model training is for a small company so we’d probably never do it. But with

This doesn't seem particularly formal. I still remain unconvinced reducing is really going to be valuable. Code obviously is as formal as it gets but as you trend away from that you quickly introduce problems that arise from lack of fo

I don't know that graph to me shows Sonnet 4.5 as worse than 3.7. Maybe the automated grader is finding code breakages in 3.7 and not breaking that out? But I'd much prefer to add code that is a different style to my codebase than

These studies are always really hard to judge the efficacy of. I would say though the most surprising thing to me about LLMs in the past year is how many people got hyped about the Opus 4.5 release. Having used Claude Code at work since it

Isn’t this what World Coin is? Definitively not a fan of the project but I think the general goal is to get people to verify they are human and then somehow “waves hands blockchain” that can be carried with them on the internet.

Grifting is about as American as apple pie honestly. Melville is of course know for Moby Dick where he delves into the psyche of the Great American Man but he also wrote The Confidence Man. Mark Twain’s work is full of con men and grifters.
