Yikes, poor people. I wonder if there is also a similar site from the French testing in the South Pacific?

Netflix is renown for paying their engineers very well. I would be interested to know if Disney+ also pay such high salaries to attract the best?

Just googled the yacht - its pretty small for someone of his wealth. Check out the late Paul Allen's yacht Octopus or MY Eclipse for what some billionaires go for.

I didnt get that from the article. Actually I just saw someone on FB posting this doomism so the article seemed quite timely. This person was previously a denialist but is now writing things like: do u have Air-conditioning in your house?

Thanks, inspirational. I plan to buy up land and plant as many trees as I can too. I doubt I'll be able to do 1360 acres though! But at least I will help in some small way.

Thanks good article - and good comments with it too. I have always assumed that things would probably be a lot worse than what the general consensus was saying - I could see how the projections were becoming worse over time. In the next sta

I spoke to a JP a couple of days ago and she said they haven't been issued with a directive to accept it as ID when notarising forms so she wouldn't until she had received official word.

Whats the use-case for this then? Without recording using it for security is fairly limited. Do you see it more as a pet/baby monitor?

So perhaps they should drop the costs to encourage more usage and thereby also reduce the wholesale cost.

Possibly - but NSW, QLD & TAS are well known to have "gold plated" their network and still have lower cost than here.

I'm in SA and I'm currently looking at getting solar panels and maybe a battery because we have the highest cost of electricity in the country. I'd like to know why we have the highest when the price seems to be going negativ

Yes but sometimes even for companies in their position they say enough is enough to the losses and choose to let them go into administration instead. I'd say its unlikely SoftBank will choose this but it is an option for them.

Yes Regus does this and is profitable - given Regus is valued at $3 bil It might make sense to buy them instead of pumping another $3 bil into WeWork that doesn't look like it will ever make a profit.

While you are correct there is just no way that this is going to happen. Even if you could convince all the West to give up FF then I don't think you could convince China and India. Also there is no way you could convince the majority
