I have tried. The total bandwidth usage was less when using a single zip file, probably because of similarities in each of the collada model files.

Firefox has much worse WebGL performance than Chrome. I will create a bugreport to Firefox about this.

No, you don't have to sign up. Accounts is just for persistent savegames.

This is not really possible at the moment. This 3D version is using WebGL in Javascript running as a web-application, while the downloadable binary is implemented in C.

I agree. As a developer, a desktop PC gives me the most value and peformance. I recently replaced my Asus zenbook laptop with a new desktop PC that I built myself, with an Intel i7 CPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD and a great nVidia graphics card,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to fix the iOS issue. My main platform for testing has been Chrome on a laptop computer. Getting iOS to work nicely is important though. Did you get some error message?
