I hope this trend continues. I wonder will people find uses for the components in the same way they do with the framework laptop parts?

I live waaaaay behind the curve, phone wise. I buy phones from about 5 years ago and I don't spend more than about 150 at a time. Every now and then a phone comes along that makes me want to break that trend and buy something new, and

Stupid question, but what are security updates in a smartphone context? Surely Android updates are the security updates? Wouldn't keeping this thing up to date with the latest version of Android be enough to be secure? Or am I running

I agree, but I'm intrigued by the _patterns_ of headlines. At first, they were all in the format of "I asked chatGPT to write a blog post, here it is" and "I used ChatGPT to talk to my mom so I don't have to" T

I think its fantastic that people go to such lengths to keep old titles like this playable on newer hardware. I was never a big fan of The Sims, but I loved SimCity, and I was very into with SimCopter for a year or two.

Such a hilarious use-case. Like someone would pay to for a Boston Dynamics Atlas robot, and then put it to work on construction, as a gopher.

obviously not, right now. but if this tech can be scaled up it would be. yes, it's not a certainty. but solar power was once seen as only useful in space where you couldn't run a diesel engine. Then it got more efficient, and chea

So many posts on here (and I suppose the original post too) are making this a binary argument "Either we fix Earth, or we go to Mars". What happened to doing both? They're not incompatible with each other. We don't have

Ah but we need to eat the plants. We can put factories that create fuel out of nothing in the middle of the ocean, where we can't grow corn.

Solar power wasn't economically viable once, nor was Wind power. Sucking fuel out of the air anywhere you like has to be more viable than sailing out to sea and building a huge rig to drill underwater for pockets of gunk that you then

Same here. zero appeal to me. I'm very biased because I already hate social media (Discord is about as social as I go) but the idea of strapping something onto my head to do the equivalent of a video call sounds very unappealing.
