Logan, guardians of the galaxy and Deadpool fairly soundly proved that unsafe movies can be popular. But at Disney it's about maximizing profits. If you can get all of the family to go see a movie rather than just anyone over 16, you&#

This. I'm not going to shell out $3k for a desktop computer that can't be upgraded. That's just stupid, even if it does look nice.

I think, for solo developers at least, it's very easy to get so familiar with your project that you find it difficult to step outside and see it from the point of view of someone who is not familiar with it. Also (this is definitely tr

Recently I stopped keeping lists, using todo list managers etc. It's destressed me a lot. Time crucial stuff gets noted on a paper calendar, but that's all. Another +1 for dropping social media. Nothing anyone posts on Facebook is

Monochrome is a nice idea. Windows phone is a good way to achieve the first part. Most of the apps you might use aren't available. Put the phone in "battery saver" mode and things don't run in the background, so no notif

Well for me it's a ten minute stand up every day, so about an hour more per week. I hate f.lux though. Tried it for a week and I found my screen going yellow just made me feel like my eyesight was fading every evening

You're right, when I build mobile I'll have to build my own sync to dropbox, but there are plenty of libraries for that. Hopefully one that already does conflict handling =( I do have a local database store, but the Windows Store

That's exactly what I just built for myself. Flatnote, on the windows store (and soon on mac/Linux/mobile) is a rich-edit note app which stores files as .md files in the file system. Sync is handled by just putting your notes
