If you want to compute a lot, the cloud is always more expensive than your own hardware. Cloud only pays off if you're doing something major short-term (your load is spikes and then drops off for a while), or you're just plain lazy.

This will NOT replace email, especially in the corporate world. You only need to spend a week at a relatively large corporation to clearly see why. Look at what we have now - basecamp, all kinds of free instant chats, group video chats, all

You have to start with organic chemistry and genetics. If you don't, you won't have a good understanding of what's going on. Bioinformatics itself is huge, there are many many areas - protein folding, protein interaction, DNA/RNA interactio

Apple has many problems now. Android and Windows phones/tablets being a massive one. Android is now 75% of the new phones (as of Q3 of 2012), 41% of the tablet market. Google is eating Apple's lunch as we speak. Microsoft is about to take a

I would try and prevent it. If it's inevitable, I would relax and enjoy life as much as I can. The problem is, everyone would, and we would run out of food/water/fun pretty quickly.

Ok, at $0.5/future, the fees are $500 - 2,000 per day $2,500 - 10,000 per week $130,000 - $520,000 per year That's just the fees. He must make that much just to break even. If you can make that much starting with $30K, you're a supermotherf
