Business wise, I wouldn't invest a dime. How do you even market something like that? Textbooks is a cutthroat business, there are thousands of textbooks on math, many of them with decades of history, improvements, fans, recommendations, tea

A bunch of short clips, out of context, with refutations cut out. Pretty much all of them engaging in the logical fallacy called "argument from ignorance". Pretty much all of them pre-supposing their god's existence. Lame.

I disagree. Imagine a bracelet that injects you with drugs, and only unlocks itself after the course of injections was completed.

There's a theory that Pi digits contain every possible finite sequence of digits. Just think about it. If that's true, the whole universe is described inside Pi with any precision you want, with any time precision you want. Somewhere in Pi

It doesn't matter how it's represented internally. The end goal is a digital photo that you will print or post on facebook/flickr. What I don't get it who their market is. If you aren't taking serious photos, nobody really cares if it's per

Of course, this comparison is bullshit. They downsampled the 5D shot, no sharpening, they used f2.8 to shoot a landscape (not that it would matter much in this comparison). iPhone 4S has no chance against 5D mk II.

With that "logic" they should compare it with 5D mk II and 1200mm lens shot in extremely low light at ISO 6400.

What was the point of that? HN and Reddit are so much more useful than Twitter and Facebook. And while NYT is not horrible, it's like limiting your worldview from the whole world to one local newspaper.

Most of the concepts you've learned still apply. For web, you will still use HTML, CSS, JS on the front end. You will have to learn the language and the particular quirks of the framework you choose. Also keep in mind that Ruby and Python a

Value is whatever people decide. Gold or dollar are not supported by anything but people's desire to have them. Well, gold is also limited, at least on this planet. Bitcoins have more value to me than gold. It's digital (no need to store a
