Employers are different. Some prefer formal education. Some only care about your ability to do work.

Contrary to the impression media and movies have created, lawyers get paid VERY LOW salaries now, at least in NY. We have overproduced so many lawyer graduates who thought they would be making 100K+ at their first job, it's just insane. Jus

This is not a photoshop clone, not even close. At best, it's an attempt to clone MS Paint. Photoshop is an insanely complex tool that has very important things like - Color management, color profiles - RAW file support - 16-bit-per-channel

"J.C. Penney shares right now are around $22.55, Facebook shares are around $21.75" I wouldn't trust the opinion of whoever wrote this. Pure stock prices are meaningless, you can't compare them.

Amazon's revenues have been growing like crazy, year after year: http://i.imgur.com/EWBOe.png Which justifies this high P/E. Amazon is about to grab a huge section of retail by offering cheap next day shipping. Same for Salesforce - consi

And it's still trading at the insane P/E of 116. It's a stock on its way to $5, and even that is too high at the current earnings.

No, you didn't "made $10K". You basically sold records that you paid for previously. Not only that, but most likely you sold them at a loss. I doubt you paid $3 for them.

People do lie on their resumes, but it's kind-of hard to catch them. When I was in charge of tech interviews, we had this one candidate who came in, I looked at his resume, asked a few general questions and then started asking tech stuff. I

Design-by-committee indeed. I saw this happen with my own eyes at a bunch of companies. Executives get together, and they all try to place their sub-project on the front page. Nobody says "no", because they have their own sub-projects. So y

I see two possible long-term solutions to the captcha problem 1) Ask user to do a relatively expensive computation. This can be done in the background while the user is typing his post. 2) Request a small amount of money (10c) per comment.

I had to travel to Europe recently, and for my bank the difference between the market rate and what they gave me was less than 1%. Now, what % of $20 would be gone by the time you get your bitcoins?
