If you really feel paranoid, why not use 3-4 different encryption algos in a chain? The probability of ALL of them being broken is extremely low.

Could you publish non-anonymized SSD reliability data? When Google did publish their extensive HDD reliability study they removed all brand/model names, so it's pretty useless for consumers.

I can't think of a single app that's RAM-speed-bound. Pretty much everything is CPU- or GPU- or disk-bound.

So did you learn your lesson? DON'T DEVELOP FOR APPLE. Considering how many horror stories we've seen, I wonder why anybody would waste their time developing apps for that weird company. Develop for open systems instead. They will

Assuming all hardware has backdoors (an unlikely scenario) and giving up basic encryption that can protect you in case when there are no hardware backdoors (a likely scenario) is counterproductive. I see no reason that Zeus shouldn't e

"We can plant bugs in machines" doesn't mean that they can do it remotely. That would actually be a serious serious backdoor and would put all kinds of businesses in mortal danger - banking, credit card, online shopping, etc.

Why don't you create a better ranking and see how it does? I bet the results will be nearly identical, if not worse for the US.

Tumblr's revenue in 2012 was $13M and negative profits (they are actually losing money). They "expect" $100M revenue and $60M profits in 2013. Even if their expectations work, whoever offered them $1.1B is a complete idiot.

Your math assumes all of your connections are saturated to the max (on user's end). If that's the case, then yeah, 10 million connections would require a 14.3 terabytes/sec connection, which doesn't exist for regular PCs, as far as I know.
