I sit on the floor. I think it's silly so many people invest so much time sitting to be uncomfortable. If I have to sit at a desk, many years ago, I used an exercise ball. It was great as my position sitting was super neutral.

Yes, the bet it all on black and see if Lady Luck is on your side hope. What if they did and lost it all 6 weeks ago? What would that signal instead?

Heh, no that’s not it at all. It isn’t because “they don’t know how much free space” it’s a weight and balance issue. They monitor the weight, fuel and depending on the flight load they rather gate check luggage to reduce it because usually

That’s normal for most airlines that have a business / first class 3 E.g. full service airlines . The USA legacy ones are forgoing it to save jetbridge cost.

Everyone I’ve met lately is the same, not the hacker type, doesn’t enjoy learning why - just bare minimum to get largest reward. I guess it works

Degree is easy at that age, or next decade. Plenty of people get one online or distance learning. Experience is hard, and if google hires you at that age - you take it and figure out what distance program you do.

Yep, and they have spin off boards from FC but they are all a shell of itself. It's interesting how it goes around again.

You get rabies, you die. Yes. There is one known survivor /w a very esoteric procedure called the milwaukee protocol but it is not considered defacto. Either you're immunized, or you're practically dead.

You know, that is interesting - it was a point of learning that in the 90's/00's but I don't see it really being a book presented today. I wonder how much knowledge society develops, says it's interesting/usefu

Yep, this - the process isn't hard but it is tedious. W/ ARIN you also have some waiting to do - and must register as a business and pay that registration fee.

I would love to learn more about your day to day in Antarctica! Did Starlink really change everything for connectivity there? Do most people stay inside?

Ask HN: How does Starlink work for IP address/ASN internationally?

Very normal, it's protectionism so that local carriers e.g. quantas/jetstar have those locked down and not have foreign competition. Though Jet star is partially owned/operated by JAL and Quantas.

100% agree. It’s interesting that people purchase an app for what is already included on a phone for free. If they have an iPhone, they can also reduce the time an app or website has per day.

This solves so many problems. I always did the manual usb image using dd in shell. Never thought to make it into an app and query apple servers. To be frank, you shouldn’t have too - even Microsoft provides iso for its current operating sys

In the Philippines its the same, $20, done in an hour, pick up frames. I did it in Tokyo too, and it was a bit more but same. If it wasn't for zenni optical, I wouldn't know where I'd be personally.
