I moved from Maryland a couple of years ago. Very surprised to see how many speed cameras pop up each time I go back for a visit. I don't speed, but whenever I see a sign for one it really stresses me out. Glad I don't live there

My friend and I always talk about how, given our salaries, we could have both bought houses by now if we weren't living in the Bay Area. A tempting idea is just to save as much as possible for a few years and then move someplace cheaper.

My parents grew tomatoes in their garden every summer here in the US. I've been eating tomatoes like that since I was a child. Sliced, as a side, in the summer, with a little salt and pepper. I only do this when they are homegrown though.
