For secure communication we should leave email behind because there's still a lot of metadata when using email. Bitmessage ( https://bitmessage.org ) might prove to be a viable solution to the metadata problem.

To see so many people on here finding this a useful feature I wonder if there are browser extensions which store the search history (independent of the search provider) client-side. I love how I can access years of search queries for words
