Why not use GitHub? You can file and look up commit histories, write comments, track Issues/bug reports, collaborate with others.. all in one place. If you want a public debugging journal for a private or self-hosted project, I think E

Task management, GTD, etc. helps but honestly, that level of productivity is somewhat of a prerequisite - it confers no advantage when playing ball with the big boys. to me, "burnout" is about staying too productive for too long.
