In the past decades research has been done about the sonic boom and how aircraft shape influences it. This is one of the reasons new companies are looking into supersonic flight again.

Lots of complaints about stream performance here. std::sync_with_stdio(false); Helps with that a bit.

I liked the theory, and have been disappointed with a few companies' implementation. Generally speaking they tried to focus on 100% accurate estimates, which proved hard given the maturity of the team. One company did SAFE, which worke

Perhaps you are simply more aware of the warning signs?

Slightly related... I have once created a c++ templated class that encapsulates all SI units. Using the values of the different SI quantities, you can let the compiler perform all kinds of quantity interference or checking.

Thank you so much for sharing. This makes a lot of sense right now.

Can you provide a suggestion as to what to do instead?

I've had to do it, and always loathed it. In my current job it's also a thing, and I try to be honest. That also means writing the hours I need to write hours (and other stuff, like checking the intranet for news). In a previous j

As far as I understand, the receive[1] call performs pattern matching on messages in the queue. If no match is found, the call blocks until any of the patterns match. If a match is found, the first match is returned. Since you perform this

I guess erlang is an example of keeping your flow linear, albeit at the cost of searching through the incoming event queue and thus reordering of events.

Isn't that the whole reason why it makes sense to iterate, and release early and often?

Would it make sense to broadcast vital information to "nearby" aircraft, so they can store and forward when something went wrong?

One very effective procrastination avoidance technique I recently came across was giving yourself a simple choice: do the next thing on your list or do absolutely nothing until you feel good enough to do that task. Seems to work wonders.

You can, I recently did it. Power on the Zero is connected to the pins, the power USB connector and the OTG USB connector. Afaik, there are no components in-between.

Many clones have two usb ports, with one being OTG capable. For example the mango pi mq.

Did this with a uugear mega4 ppps usb switch between two pi zero ws. One can be permanently on, drawing just 0.6watt. It can turn on the second pi zero and connect to it.

A few years ago, before the rate limits on Google maps, I wrote a script that analyzed my commutes. Per week it produced a standard deviation of the travel time for every departure time. The result was a nice graph showing peaks of traffic.

A Pi Zero can go down to 0.5W idle. The Pi Zero 2W should also be good, but is very hard to obtain right now.
