It's not called .NET Core any longer. Another naming switcheroo that people have to get familiar with.

Highly refined carbs are certainly a problem. Regardless of your opinion, red meat - including processed meat such as bacon - is also a cause of coronary heart disease. "We found that greater intakes of total, unprocessed, and processe

There's nothing wrong with restating the facts. Your argument could be applied to a host of topics. The truth is, the vast majority of people aren't willing to change. For example, heart disease is the biggest killer in the world

I'm usually surprised when people say they struggled with protein intake. Protein is widely available and eating seeds, pulses, nuts, oats, grains and a load of veggies should get most people to that required ~50g of daily protein inta

I’m interested to know why you’re placing the blame on Robinhood. They would have carried on trading $GME if they weren’t called up at 3am by NSCC with a demand for $3 billion security. I’d be interested in knowing how the NSCC came up with

Ain't this the truth. It's an incredibly inefficient way to feed the human race. And to boot, there's fewer starving livestock then there are starving humans.

I think most people acknowledge that just by existing they’re causing harm. If you cut meat and diary out of your diet, you’re vastly reducing that harm. This isn’t just taking into consideration the cows, it’s also the vast quantities of c

I can’t speak for Ocaml, but in Elm, an if expression as well as a function must return the same type. Therefore the code you posted would be invalid.

In my experience the vast majority of React bugs are standard bugs you'd find in any JavaScript program, null reference errors. PureScript will force you to handle nulls as a Maybe, preventing a whole class of bugs.

A Haskell project with docs, this is a pleasant surprise. I’ve been playing around with Phoenix recently and I’ve been missing a decent type system (Dialyzer is pretty bad). I know very little Haskell but this makes me want to dip my toes i

As someone who’s been watching Elm since 0.18 and writing Elm since 0.19, I’ve heard similar stories to this in the past. Elm is a great language for building frontend apps, I feel far more confident and enjoy writing code in Elm than I eve

As a complete newbie to .net, I’ve tinkered around with f# for a web app and quickly got frustrated. I like the sound of your approach. Do you have any links / resources for the best way to get started with your approach?

This is not simply about modals. Using VoiceOver and Chrome I cannot access the pop up menu to navigate the site. These CSS tricks are cool but they shouldn't be used in a production environment without basic usability testing. More sp

It's perfectly possible to do some nifty tricks with CSS alone. The one thing this author has omitted is the impact this has on accessibility. Sure, I can open a modal without the need of JavaScript, but my focus isn't trapped wit

It's great that you have all things things, but are they standard in the US? I think that's the main issue here, that as a baseline, europeans tend to get more time off.
