2 or 3, mostly history, non fiction and technichal. Back in the day, with no internet available and more spare time, 10 to 15 books monthly. Also I used to read mostly fiction. I dont miss reading more paper books, the internet provides on

Well, it mostly is; But the humor that gets upvoted its VERY funny, so, im ok with that high threshold. I keep coming here because of the signal/noise ratio wich has not changed that much in my more than 562 days here, wich in internet time

It also feels like patterns, little building blocks to build bigger things. Thats whats compelling me to buy it, its not just technique or recipes, its knowledge you can use to expand on. Also, his blog is great.

I was using regular red eye drops on a daily basis, but they seemed to increase the damage. Now i use this natural eye drops made from Hamamelis ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamamelis ) and they help a lot, seemingly without side effects.

Agree. It seems to me that if you dont want to give things a thougth, just adhere to someone elses and call yourself a (insert religion/belief system/school of thougth here) and get on with it. What does that pattern says about our program?

Great reading. This notion of different "times" is very interesting, a friend said you can find this in JS Bachs music, as it doesnt follow the mostly human notion of time, e.g. it doesnt have a beginning, a peak and an end.
