Firestore in Datastore mode actually has this feature, it's called GQL (it's not real SQL but similar) https://cloud.google.com/datastore/docs/concepts/queries

Firebase is a large suite of products - are you talking about the Realtime Database? The answer is it depends on what "high scale" is. There are parts of the RTDB that didn't scale well when I worked on it (indexes are built

Agreed - neovim is plenty stable for me. The built in package management and git submodules in my dotfiles works really well and is dead simple.

It can be yes, especially depending on what you're doing. I'm so much more productive with some of the impressive refactoring actions. An example cool one for me in React is "Extract Component" where you can pull out a c

Jetbrains IDEs have refactorings that are light-years ahead of any LSP functionality. I can use nvim for simple or small code bases, but for any real work project I've had to use IntelliJ. For example, I had a VSCode coworker who was a

I recently implemented a similar concept to this for HTML emails at shortwave.com, it only works for the subset of non table emails (which we assume are marketing emails and you want to see the full HTML). It allows us to render stuff wayyy

I use spr and git fixup for this workflow and it's really helped me breakup my changes better, managing multiple branches and stacking changes that way is a huge pain, but this workflow has been huge for me! SPR: https://git

I'm also a fan of the manual DI approach - I strongly dislike the magic. I think it helps if you are building test/fakes of your deps that don't really need as many sub-dependencies. Generally you in a test `@BeforeAll` const
