I had the same problem in college. Classes started at 0830 but for me it was still too early. I was always falling asleep and after a while I just stopped attending.

I get 6-8 hours out of my Zenbook with ArchLinux. Nowhere near the touted 9 hours of the specs, or the 12+ of the Macbook. My system is exceptionally lean. I run bspwm and the radios are always off except WiFi. Still, I feel like I could ge

You are missing the point, which is that you can bypass the permission system completely by directly launching the camera intent.

This is ridiculous. If one is harassed in private they have all the evidence they need to expose the harassment to whomever they want. So now they are not private messages and shouldn't be called as such.

Monero is extremely useful and has a strong value proposition. RaiBlocks is another one that's good from this perspective. I agree, most of the projects in the crypto space are just overvalued vaporware (see, very recently, TRON). But

Utterly ridiculous. The feed cannot show every possible post, otherwise it would be a mess rather than a feed. I really dislike Facebook, but blaming it in this case doesn't even make sense.

So? If you want to be offline you go offline. It's not like someone is forcing you to use WiFi... This seems more like a self-control problem.

I cannot speak about macOS, but I can about Windows. I've used Windows since I was 5 years old, for a bit more than 10 years. I've used Windows XP, Vista and 7. Then I've switched to Linux. Windows is frankly terrible. I'

Just out of curiosity, what smartphone and OS do you use, if I may ask? iOS and Windows Phone are closed source, which I'd argue it's worse than using Google services. Android seems pretty much unusable without Google integration.

Could you suggest books that go deeper in the second type of technical analysis? Most of what I find online fits well in the first type you described.

I don't think this comparison is sound. First of all, are you investing the same money in both cases? Even with a smaller annualized ROI you can earn more by investing more at the start. This brings us to the second point: if you skipp

Just the other day I discovered that there exist a kernel (SOS kernel) that allows to use Python and R simultaneously in the same notebook (on a per-cell basis) and even has primitives for data exchange between the two. I'm definitely

It takes a while and it's really boring, but you can configure the scaling for at least the major graphical toolkits (Qt 4,5 whatever and GTK 2,3). Java apps are yet another separate thing to configure.

I don't think the best use case for BK-trees is spell-checking and words. The area in which they are used most successfully is image deduplication. In that case the metric you're going to use is some form of perceptual hashing.

Mhm maybe in C++ a deque is a vector of vectors (in stdlibc it's just a double pointer to T IIRC). In Python it's a doubly-linked list of blocks: https://github.com/python/cpython/blob/master/Mo

There's nothing that prevents Bitcoin from being a good anonymous currency. It simply isn't. Its design allows it to be pseudo-anonymous at best, while Monero, for instance, has anonymity built in. Therefore if one seeks a truly a
