Yeah, so what it says is that some of the other publishers should have also held out. By the time it got down to HC it was too late.

Lets make it a real life situation: delete all the accounts (in 14 days) and shut down the site forever. Plenty of companies do this. Do you still feel the same way? Human nature is weird in a way, we feel better about someone telling us th

Hardly, this is only true if you believe that high school is the most effective way to gain the knowledge that high school teaches and/or that we are still stuck in a credentials orientated world that won't let someone without a high school

In terms of the situation on earth, you don't need a large amount of survival from an extinction level event. Even if it was a few thousand diverse people in underground nuclear powered bunkers we would eventually build back up.

Lizzy McGuire was a pretty good kids show. I think that era of Disney channel shows was a bit better. My sister and I are separated by 7 years, the stuff she grew up with on Disney Channel was pretty different (early 2000's).

What people are getting at is that if at the same time as the dilution the market places a greater value on shares (due to what they think a company can do with the money). Then they don't necessarily have to lose value over the short term.

I think it would be holding a lot of people back from buying. Maybe it is great once you start playing, from images online though it looks weird and awkward to use.

If this does happen it will be very interesting to see Tumblr's progress over the next year. Will give insight into whether Yahoo has turned the corner or whether it is the same Yahoo we have seen in the past 5 years.

Am I the only one that thinks this is a legitimate? I could see myself thinking anything suffixed with "with friends" that is an app as part of the Zynga range. Granted that fact that it isn't a game could be enough to remove some of the co

Yeah, the killer is the lead times, if it were decided right now to build a replacement it would be a long time before any results would be seen. Too bad the program wasn't devised it terms of building more than one from the start.

I think given the cost of this mission relative to things like a space shuttle launch it would have/ still is better to build more than one. Although I can't really say too much as Australia is useless at putting any real money into space s

I think it is okay, as long as you have a backup plan. Can be advantageous to keep the code required to build the project small and have people pull dependencies as required.

Yeah, not sure why people are being negative. I would understand that it would be selfish to direct Google funds to this research. Don't we all direct a large amount of our personal funds though to things that benefit us?

The market for unique/ handcrafted looking stuff would probably be even bigger than the market for actual handcrafted. Handcrafted takes a ton of time and adds a large premium to price.
