Having switched from Telstra HFC to NBN HFC my biggest complaint is variable latency. Ping to the same servers tends to vary from 20ms to 120ms. I haven't looked into too much but probably coincides with peak hours in the evening.

Doesn't Microsoft also basically have a bottomless checkbook to spend on search? And Bing can't compete.

Twitch gets me which is unfortunate because they are generally providing a good service. They hit you with one of these ads pretty much every time you change channels, no matter how frequently.

It is more about when the car is costing you enough per year to fix that paying for a new one would be cheaper overall. Also perceived safety/ convenience, a car might be good for another 100k km but appear unreliable enough that it mi

Visa itself is only charging a small portion of that fee, around 0.5% typically.

Initially when people come from myspace they were using it similar to myspace. Facebook was all about profile widgets, although they still fit a more consistent layout.

I am surprised that the Taboola style related articles ads that appear below pretty much anything news like online these days aren't a bigger growth area.

I suspect RRP/ MSRP have nearly always been useless. Comparison is the only way to get a true sense of what a regular market price is for something. Too often I will see something on a 50%+ off sale which might just be matching the mar

"90% of kids learning guitar quit in the first 2 months" - I wonder if when the industry was doing well it mainly just meant that there were a lot more guitars out there collecting dust.
