eBay have been trying to enforce UPC/EAN for some years now but don't seem to be making a lot of progress either. Amazon have also made the burden of proof for getting changes to a listing made so high that it isn't really wo

Yeah no burden of proof, they just check a box to say their claim is legitimate and your legal action is probably the only way they can be held to account on that.

Yeah, it depends how determined you are, from my experience they rarely stop replying completely. Terrible process though, the truth doesn’t really matter, just that you can convince some first level reviewer in India that your appeal hits

There are lots of duplicate products with slight naming style variations. No one seems to have solved grouping products together where the same UPC hasn’t been provided from each seller. Would require building a parser/ some AI that un

If nuclear could be bought online with the same kind of investment profile as solar and wind I doubt the political aspect would be anywhere near as big a factor. Even without the politics someone building nuclear is being forced to make a v

To be fair aerospace was never really a full time thing and was budget restricted. Given fulltime and Bezos money who knows.

This wouldn't be too uncommon in branded ecommerce. If you are selling well known brands it is going to be very hard to get decent organic search rankings for them in the short term.

This is basically eBay, there should be no reason for their site the be ridden with display ads, much less the massive performance hit they seem to be taking on desktop because of all the adtech junk loaded in.

Surely the boss realises what is going on in that kind of case? I guess they are a slave to the culture just as much as those beneath them?

The number of political activists that are just joining Twitter now and want to start by posting my times a day about the one issue must be small compared to the troll accounts. It even should be relatively easy to come up with a model to p

Subscription model fits better. There are ongoing costs to maintaining the service indefinitely. One off cost only really makes sense when you can sell a piece of software as being done essentially and move onto the next piece of software t

Seems crazy to hire the best engineers and pay them top dollar only to put a bunch of organizational barriers in the way they have to try and navigate if they want to get anything done.

Even if it is terrible, is the business such than a 26 cent overhead on rides is going to make or break it? Companies like Lyft are doing a lot more than updating a few fields for each ride. They would be processing massive amounts of locat

The issue is comparison, a lot of customers are going to have to build their own spreadsheets to try and compare the terms with alternatives. What you have is basically the industry standard for this form of capital, but definitely an oppor

Yeah, that is the issue we have. Something like Stripe at 2.9% you don't think twice with a high margin SASS product, on 15% margins and enough volume though it makes sense to go through some pain to setup with a cheaper processor.
