I think browsers could throttle scripts loaded from cross origins. That may allow the main website to load faster, but then I guess from the content owners point of view the most important thing is getting the ad code loaded and registering

To play devils advocate, we are in 2017 and JS adverts on normal websites can slow the latest phones down to a crawling stuttering mess. These are probability the same developers that were writing sloppy Flash banners a decade earlier.

Is it Chrome eating memory of the websites you have visited? Suspended tabs suggests issues, which may not free up till you close them.

I suspect this is a hardware (firmware) issue, I've had it, along with numerous other people and a replacement followed by an iCloud backup has always fixed the problem. It's not normal battery drain, nothing could cause the batte

Humm, a skeptical view of this would suggest deliberate weakening of security. Perhaps not a full back door, but more of an open upstairs window?

What about franchise dilution? I'm not sure what a Call of Duty game means any more, other than it's going to be a FPS. They have had different teams work on the games, there aren't any common characters, time periods vary et

If the methods you are creating are private and for the purpose of segmenting a block of code, you really shouldn't be testing it directly, as it almost certainly won't be part of your public API.
