Sorry to hear that, it's an eerie reminder of our mortality. You can edit the contact, remove the birthday and add it as a note to keep the info but let it be handled in another way.

The third party branding can also be positive depending on your own brand trust. Made numerous payments to shoddy businesses in SE asia the last month, but since most offer PayPal as payment provider I feel confident entering my CC number.

I think a cheaper alternative is to only allow access to non-sensitive information when initially logging into the device, then hide any substantial information behind another layer. Don't think the average customs officer has time or

Some generalisations from this data: - Developers likes newer tools more than older tools - Developers who work with newer tools are paid less than developers working with older tools These points are not really surprising.

Setup for Apache with certbot was basically one command. Was even easier than copying and configuring existing SSL certificates. So think that qualifies as a good integration.

GDPR affects any company that has european customers. So a lot of non-EU companies will be affected. Guess it will be harder to enforce when a company does not have an EU sub though.

Seems to differ between companies. We have seen PII as a liability since early on, but more so as we move closer to GDPR. GDPR forces us to justify and be transparent about each data point we collect. This has increased the urgency of clean

Reminds me of Sweden hills: http://nordic.businessinsider.com/this-japanese-town-looks-e... Japan is actually the largest export market for Swedish prefab houses. Our houses are built with a 80 year life expectancy and adap

How do they "invest" in their home? Renovate it to the max, keep buying a more expensive one or paying off your loan?

Would just like to say that the website looks great and that I like that you reuse and repackage existing good solutions rather than reinventing the wheel. Seems like a good option for an org that want more than Trello but less than JIRA.

Segmentation is the way to go, your approach is risky since you need to change a lot of different parts of the project. We segmented by creating a legacy folder with the old standard and a folder for the new code that has strict linting rul

Quality in the formal sense should not exceed specifications. It should meet them and every point where specifications are not met is considered a defect. Quality in the informal sense that is used in every day talk is how well a product&#x

You need to fetch the value to use as hint from the input somewhere. Doing a typo of writing passwordInput instead of passwordHintInput is not that unlikely, even though it is unfortunate.

After some research we went with Scribe and it works well. Our requirements were clean html output, stable and that it works in Chrome and Safari. Worth mentioning is that the maintainers does not focus on broad browser support.

I estimate engineering to cost $50/h. So each hour engineering spend on self hosting is almost 2 months at the SaaS. On top of that an isolated dedicated VM and database probably cost about $20-30 per month. To be honest I have not don
