I was just telling my wife this morning that this "Serverless" business was just CGI reinvented. I don't get it.

They probably paid a million dollars for that system, too.

This sort of answer angers me. I bought a house in town because it is convenient. I don't want to drive an hour to work each way. The idea that I will likely be taxed out of my home in ten or fifteen years is irritating and the idea th

Exactly. I've been asking this question for a long time, at least 10 years. I guess it's a joke now, but I still love it. If you asked me or some of my teammates, we could talk for hours. Yet, we have candidates that finish the qu

That's why I'm on Facebook: family and friends. We live away from most of our family and friends. When we had our first child, we discussed it and decided that it would be best to very actively share pictures and stories via Faceb

I think those are the same words every new business ever have said. You need to address pricing, even if it is stating that we're not sure yet. As it is, it looks like you just want to avoid the topic. Also, assure me that my diagrams

Same comment. The first thing I do is look for pricing. If I cannot find it or it was clearly made hard to find, I move on. Looks like a neat tool, but I'm not bothering to make an account.

I agree with you. Many of my racing friends get prices online and then have Discount Tire price match. I think that's stupid. I'd rather support the vendor that prices things "right" in the first place.

I've had similar things happen with my electric bill. I noticed at some point that I had been paying small late fees. Looking into it, they would cash my checks, but not credit the account until the day after the payment was due. They

dnscrypt is an encrypted channel back to the DNS server. They can tell it's going to OpenDNS because of the IP address, but the cannot see the payload.

I'm unclear why I would tip my Instacart delivery person. I order A, B, and C; my expectation is that A, B, and C show up, because that is what I paid for. How can a particular delivery person do that "better" enough to deser

I use OpenDNS. My home network is setup so that all DNS requests are sent via dnscrypt to OpenDNS. This ensures that Comcast (or whoever) doesn't ever see my DNS traffic and can't muck with it.

I had no approach, it just happened. But you have to be out and doing things for it to happen, they're not going to show up on your couch one day while you're playing video games or watching TV, that is for sure. Well, unless you

Well, for one thing, settling down isn't something you can go out and buy or manufacture. Finding the right person and the right time is hard and also a bit of luck. One thing I would consider, though, is that the older you are, the ha

It was painful to read. And I'm not sure how accurate, either. Losing market share is bad, obviously, but doesn't iOS still win the revenue share by a huge margin?

Always fun to watch people try and justify breaking the law. "I wanted to pay!" Okay. But they didn't want to sell it to you. It sucks, yes, but it's their content to do with as they please.
