Roads don't build themselves, water treatment doesn't happen by itself. What is society for if not to serve the common needs of the people?

Kryo is not a from scratch design. It is most likely based on the A72. Qcom purchased an ARM architecture level license, which grants it access to the design of ARM CPUs and allows it to make changes and sell the resulting product. This is

Having worked with creating drivers for Qualcomm (but not worked at Qcom) I can't stress enough how important is to have connections with people who are familiar with the hardware or have access to documentation.

FOSDEM is unique when it comes to conferences. Not only is it free, but a lot of open source projects are represented there both in terms of talks/booths/devrooms.
