Coding is the one place I think you are correct. Most information is extremely niche, but Coding is all over the internet. I have not been able to google some of my (Industry Level) Chemistry questions.

I find some of my top 'competitor' blogs are worse quality, but somehow perform better due to having tons of links/content. Something like 'Save Money on Food', I am positive I am best-in-class, but I am only front

I can confirm I have seen Elon and Tesla Marketing do 'horrible' things. Its one of the least ethical mainstream companies. If I could warn anyone, I found our fellow 'highly educated' nerds, fall for marketing, similar

While I give away 100% of the stuff on my website for free because I like to help people, it is NOT socialism. I could not live off my website being free, I have a day job. And as the author says, open source advocates tend to be more liber

I don't know what to learn from these ideas. This user speaks of Utopia where there is infinite engineering resources and endless profit to dig into. Maybe I suck at business, but making profit is very hard.

I don't want an expensive privacy service. I want free/low cost. I have no reason for privacy, its like buying a Mini Van when you are single. EDIT: HN is bad at discussing ideas. I suggest not downvoting people for dissent.

This strong push for 'privacy' is going to have a strong pushback. There may be some users here who need privacy, or some users who think privacy is necessary to keep whistleblowers safe. The majority of users want fantastic servi

I am 100% on board with this solution. Email does not benefit much from format when doing communication. Marketing and sales is a different story.

I am close to the phase where fast food is slower than homecooked food. Between Ramen and Breakfast Burritos, I can cook faster than a drive to Taco Bell. I cannot see how groceries can be further optimized. More selection?

In my lifetime we will learn if 'tech' companies are overvalued. The fact that my friend, a total casual, is investing in Tesla and Apple via Robin Hood has me concerned the market is inflated with dumb money.

Given the high cost, high cost options exist on other platforms that are also fantastic. So if everyone can spend 3,000 dollars and get best in class computing, what are you paying for with Apple? They have lots of marketing that psychologi

I disagree. We need to see this idea at its worst to understand the best. 7 Billion dead humans because of 'Freedom' would be worse than a few hundred dead people? But each dead person had a life and a story. What is best?
