Can you imagine if all major websites/services all had their own version of http-esque protocols? Imagine if Microsoft had a protocol only you could use on their devices. Sound familiar yet?

I’m curious about how ICE vehicles are culturally embedded in China or if there is a lack there of. People in the states seem to have “feelings” about electric vs ICE. For instance; “rolling coal” do they do that in China?

why was hertz practically issuing arrest warrants? Because they can. Malicious artificial intelligence is here. The boring part is its these faceless bureaucracies they behave (intelligence?) without responsibility or repercussions whatsoev

I’m starting to see the whole “robots killing people” is really just going to be the flagrant deflection of responsibility and blame by the people who deploy them. Just think, smart humanoid “intelligence” will make a wonderful scapegoat.

Why is it that front end frameworks have so many fans, teams, logos, lifestyles and haircuts? Like for instance golang doesn’t give much for abstraction, so it doesn’t create rockstars out of its build system / dsl / etc ?

I can also relate to this. As wonderful as ruby can be, my install (or lack of, then install) always seems to break when I get back to it after some time away.
